It's time to pile on ...
Feds: Thieving Bastards Larken Rose Now is the time to band together and support our fight for value based currency.
August 6, 2008 - I mentioned before how the feds have committed robbery, in a way even more blatant than usual, in their "seizure" (that's their euphemism for theft) of lots of gold and silver from the people at NORFED. For those who don't know, the "Liberty Dollar" is a medium of exchange that is intended to compete with the Federal Reserve's fiat currency (what most people call "dollars"). Unlike the counterfeit rags the Fed cranks out by the zillions, the "Liberty Dollar" is entirely precious-metals-based. They make silver and gold coins, as well as certificates represented by actual gold and silver in their vaults. Well a while back, the feds, seeing a threat to the counterfeiting scheme they call "monetary policy," decided to resort to outright theft, by raiding the NORFED locations and STEALING all the gold and silver. If Americans weren't so stupid, and the media wasn't so worthless, this would have instantly been national news. I happen to have a few (very few) Liberty Dollar certificates myself, and so I'll be joining in the class action to make the federal thieves give back MY silver (and everyone else's). If any of you have any of those certificates, no matter how few, I suggest you do the same. The folks at NORFED have made it ridiculously easy to get involved. The following page tells how: Class Action Lawsuit Signup I can't stress how heinous this is. Lots of people have been trading with Liberty Dollars, the value of which is the silver and gold with which they are backed. When the federal thieves stole the metal, they robbed EVERYONE who holds a Liberty Dollar certificate. The feds' fabricated complaint is that people might think that Liberty Dollars are United States (federal reserve) currency (which they said AFTER they said that Liberty Dollars are perfectly legal). So their solution was to steal all of them. So if you have any paper or e-currency Liberty Dollars hanging around, or know anyone who does, be sure to pile on in this effort to get the stolen property returned. Even if you DON'T have any Liberty Dollar certificates, you can still buy them, and THEN get involved in trying to get back the gold and silver the feds stole. For those who join the action, as I just did, they have a sample letter to send to the criminal now in charge of trying to steal and sell everyone's silver and gold. Well, I modified it a bit, made it considerably less polite, and have included it below. (You might want to use the relatively polite version instead.) (P.S. While I have zero faith in the courts these days, for obvious reasons, sometimes the feds still do stuff that is so blatantly illegal that the courts smack them for it. Hopefully this will be such a case.) August 6, 2008
