Subject: Press Statement for Roe vs. Wade 2016

Here is an excellent press release from our friend in Rochester, NY, Mike Warren.  With his permission I'm passing it on to you.  It captures the message that needs to spread far and wide.

Listen to the concerns of 21st century Americans! Terror, Islamic Jihadists, Illegal Immigration, Out of Control Federal and State Governments, Economic Collapse, loss of retirement funds.  But what's on God's heart?  What is the real danger to America once the home of the brave land of the free!

We labor under the weight of innocent bloodshed, poured out by the gallons; hundreds and thousands of gallons through the streets and sewers of America.  Coming from the nearly 60 million children slaughtered in our legal and federally protected abortion mills.  Even the gruesome videos of Planned Parenthood executives making light and laughing over the horror of selling little babies' body parts has made nary a ripple in the lakes of innocent blood shed in each of our states.  Why?

Because the cause is not political, social or economic.  It's demonic, fueled by child sacrifice, dressed up as a medical necessity.  43 years since Roe in 1973 we have danced with the devil in our nation.  And soon the bill will be required.

Please join us as we seek the Almighty with prayer intercession and worship.  Focused on seeing Him move in our hearts afresh that we would be a people who hear His call and take up our places to stand in the gap in Rochester, at the high places, that God Himself would tear down these false altars.  That God would grant our nation repentance and one more wave of revival and restoration.

Pietistic Christians Come Against Us

There are actual "Christians" of the pietistic persuasion who also came out against us as we sought to defend the God ordained marriage covenant.  According to their theology, "You cannot use the world's ways to advance the Gospel."  As if being salt and light in our government are the world's ways.  This is my response:

All legislation is based upon someone's basis for morality.  It is based upon someone's definition of good and evil or right and wrong.  If morality is not based upon the objective truth of the commandments of God, who is the Supreme Lawgiver, it falls to the subjective reasoning of the world.  Good then becomes evil and then evil is codified into law.  Moral anarchy always leads to civil tyranny.  God established civil government to restrain evil to protect those who are good and punish the evildoer.  If our government supports, upholds, and defends that which God considers abominations, it must of necessity punish the righteous.  As Martin Luther King Jr stated, "A law cannot make a man love me, but it can stop him from lynching me."

Many in the American church that rightly believe that we are to live separate from the world, do not believe we should influence the world.  Their consecration is unto isolation, while true consecration, is unto godly, righteous impact in the world.

Jesus taught, "I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.  They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.  Sanctify them by Your truth.  Your word is truth.  As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.  And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth" (John 17:15-19).

Jesus does not want us out of this world.  Plus, we are not of the world.  Our salvation is from above, but he does send us into the world.  Not to be conformed to the world, but to change the world by advancing the Gospel of the Kingdom.  This we have not done and the fruit of our nation is God's report card on our failures.
